Salam Syawal..
2 weeks to go. Allahuakbar!! Life does feel different now..
when you're seventeen or even six months out you might obsess over wedding things just for the fun of it, but when it's only 2 weeks to your wedding you do actually have to think about it all the time.... (sumtime rs nak pitam) becos all kinds of 'ntah hape2' needs to be dealt with ;p
ya Allah.. permudahkanlah segala urusanku...
okay back to business.. this time nak share about wedding theme.. or wedding colors.. betullah, color makes or breaks your wedding day style.. however, my dear bride-to-be, jgn la risau sgt pk nak color ape lah tema apa lah.. becos dlm dunia serba moden and canggeh ni senang sebenarnya untuk kite nak dptkan idea or quality info.. WWWing je lah~ hehe
so sy pernah buat 2 tests, on which wedding colors best suit my style.. :) boleh buat kat theknot.com :) or mana2 lah nnt u google lah sindri :) so this is my result.. tak main2 tau and sgt best color ni dan rs mcm happy sgt sbb nak buat color ni.. yehuuuu! so ni kite panggil, The Princess Bride's.. hahahhaa!!! princess hokeh!!!! a Moslem Princess actually :)
The Princess Bride's Palette
So they mentioned that, the colors that move me are the colors that make an opulent, unforgettable "this is my Wedding Day" impression. Unswayed by fads or by too much tradition, the hues of my choosing are always feminine, always classy, and sometimes a little over the top. hahahaa!!
Few combos are as rich as platinum and pearl and these metallics were made for my no-holds-barred taste. We may choose pearlescent card (yes we did!!) stock for our invites and dress our maids in rich platinum shantung silk. (yg ni beyond my control lah!.. sebab kite bukan anak Datuk nak sponsor sumer.. ehehehehe ;P
The grooms can wear matching ties or vests and everyone can carry gorgeous pearl-toned blooms. To take my color scheme in a more feminine direction, I may work with tones of pink -- incorporate a whole palette of them if it suits me, from the palest rose, to the most vibrant fuchsia. Consider palest blue and lightest yellow for a more traditional take on your color combos, and to move in a more modern direction, color your fete with always elegant navy blue and gray.

well, tak perlu la semua nak ikut cakap cikgu, u can always try to improvise and pandai2 hidup bak kata orang (almaklum.. ni nasihat seorang lecturer kepada students2 nye yer! hahahahaa.. ni case sbb tak suke nak spoon feed students lah.) so kite rejected navy blue or palest blue sbbnyer nak gantikan dgn emerald green or palest gold and of course to have the traditional look kite akan letak color light yellow.. :) ok done!!
kite tgk my color palette jom :)

but harus diingatkan... :) duduk kat malaysia ni and dengan cuaca tak menentu dan dgn budaya kemelayuan, susah nak lari ke english sgt :) susah lagi2 kalau ade people yg resist to change.. hehhee.. bukan kite nak lupakan adat melayu tu.. tp more on to play with the concept.. u noe~ :p
takpelah.. jadinya kite tgk lah nnt, buat apa yg termampu and bersedialah untuk redha dgn kacaca-merbaan pd majlis sy nnt :) hehhe ;P yg penting semua happy and Allah berkati :)
okay lg satu color scheme :) hehehehe :D jom tengok
